This is a monkey head. I've sewn his nose on and now I'm stumped for his mouth. I could do a straight line across the mouth part but I'm thinking that's not enough character.
How about a brown or black circle right under the nose... like he is saying ooh oooh ahh. You know like monkeys do:O) Right about where the face started, you can almost picture it...
What a great blog! I saw a hat called Allena's Hat, it had a basket weave band on it and was so cute. I search all over you blog and could not find it. It you can point me to the pattern I would apprecite it. Love the pictures of the children. What a Blessed family you have!
Do the Oo-oo-ah-ah mouth, like Jess suggested! It would be perfectly perfect!
The monkey reminds me of a monkey I held when I was in Ecuador. I couldn't believe how human the little guy looked! Our eyes met and we had a moment. Then he made a little "o" with his mouth, quietly said "oo-ooo" and poo was all over the front of my t-shirt....
